Hi Nicola, I just wanted to say thank you on behalf of the London Surfers Meetup. I know the group had an amazing time. The boys, Zak and Rachid, worked incredibly hard and really went out of their way to make sure we had a good time. I really enjoyed the village location of the villa. I loved the little chill out spaces, the food was delicious, the showers were hot and the beds were comfy. What more do you need! The location made it quick and easy to get to lots of different surf spots and some of the spots we surfed with traditional village backdrops will stay in my mind as one of my favourite travel memories. I am the girly-est girl I know & was nervous about my first surfing adventure in Morocco. But as soon as I arrived it was just perfect. The weather was gorgeous, the accommodation was amazing & the food was delicious!! As for the surf itself, Zak is a brilliant teacher with a lot of patience (perfect for putting up with me & Michelle & our screams!). The local knowledge is second to none & so valuable – any questions we had about the rest of our Moroccean adventure were answered easily. Whatever you do this year…you must visit The Spot Morocco! Hi Nicola, just a note to say thanks to you and Zak for showing us such a good time,and especially for sorting out treatment for my lip. So glad to eat good Moroccan food,both at the villa (my worries about spag bog and chips every night well unfounded!), and out and about with Zak. Dear Nicola (and Zak!), We just wanted to all say a really big thanks for the week we had. It was really good fun and it was great to escape from the cold British winter for a week. I kept reminding myself it was January! Many of my colleagues commented on my tan today so it’s good to have something to show for the time away. The surf was great and it was great to have such easy access to good waves and good tuition. So just a big thanks to you, Zak who looked after us so well. I do hope we’ll return in the not too distant future, perhaps once our surfing has improved further!, Many thanks to you all.

Hi Nicola, I just wanted to write a quick note to say a big thank you to you and Zac for making our stay in Morocco so wonderful. The surfing was great, and Zac’s tuition helped immensely, the food was incredible and I’m now re-installed back at work feeling very refreshed indeed…bar a few pains from my tumble on Saturday!! I would have quite happily stayed another week given the opportunity! Hopefully I’ll be able to come out and visit again soon!

Hi Nic, Now that we’re back in a (cold) UK, I just wanted to drop you a line to say thanks for a great holiday.  The Spot is the best surf camp we’ve stayed in – the accommodation, food and organisation were all superb.  I’m not sure when we’ll be coming back to Morocco but we’ll definitely come back to your place when we do. Zak in particular was brilliant throughout. He really got Coral’s surfing sorted out and nothing was too much trouble for him.  She’s really going to miss him calling her on to waves now that she’s back here! I can highly recommend the spot to ppl who want to learn/ improve their surfing. The staff is superb friendly, you re fully taken care of 12 hours a day, classes are small with about 1 teacher for 2 students, they always take you to the best spot of the day and for your skill level. The equipment is also mostly quit new, just make sure you re not given a wetsuit with wholes :) 
I ll join the spot again as soon as i get holiday leave.

The Spot Morocco could not have been more enjoyable. I spent 4 days as a beginner learning to surf with Zak, who is a very encouraging and passionate instructor. He will spend more than enough time with you individually, in order for you to be up and catching those once daunting “green waves”. His patience is amazing and he really does get you motivated to paddle out there and catch those waves, despite how much pain your bady may be in! Nic is very prompt at responding to any query and is a fantastic organiser, and managed to fit me in with a group of other beginner surfers. Both Nic and Zak are very inclusive in the socail aspect of meeting other locals for a drink after a day in the surf and I left feeling like I had made some great friends.

With seven days of sun, hardly any wind, a wonderful villa, lovely Moroccan food and very friendly people, it truly was a fantastic week. Zak takes you down to the right spots (surf or no-surf) and Nic will capture all the good moments with her kickass, big-lens camera. Looking back at the pics, it just feels great again!!!
