I am the girly-est girl I know & was nervous about my first surfing adventure in Morocco. But as soon as I arrived it was just perfect. The weather was gorgeous, the accommodation was amazing & the food was delicious!! As for the surf itself, Zak is a brilliant teacher with a lot of patience (perfect for putting up with me & Michelle & our screams!). I was a novice surfer with little confidence and experience in the waves and have always wanted to learn how to stay up on that surf board! The guys at The Spot Morocco really helped me become a better surfer and I enjoyed myself so much I went back again four months later! I want to thank Nic and Zak for making my surf Morocco experience so pleasurable and I would recommend The Spot Morocco to anyone wanting to give surfing a go! You guys rock.
I just wanted to write a quick note to say a big thank you to you and Zak for making our stay in Morocco so wonderful. The surfing was great, and Zak’s tuition helped immensely, the food was incredible and I’m now re-installed back at work feeling very refreshed indeed…bar a few pains from my tumble on Saturday!! I would have quite happily stayed another week given the opportunity! Hopefully I’ll be able to come out and visit again soon!
This was my first time at surfing and after the Spot Morocco’s tuition I can’t wait to go back! Zak’s knowledge of the best surf spots was invaluable particularly as first time surfers. We got to explore other places of interest, meet the locals and feel like a real part of the local surf scene. I can’t wait to go back for more!
After returning from my 2nd surf holiday to Morocco with The Spot , I can highly recommend them to people who want to learn/ improve their surfing. The staff are superb, friendly & you’re fully taken care of 12 hours a day. Classes are small with about 1 teacher for 2 students and the equipment is mostly new. They always take you to the best spot of the day and for your skill level…I’ll join The Spot again as soon as I get holiday leave :)
What an awesome introduction to Morocco and the world of surfing: I came to Morocco with my family and stayed in the Killer Apartments which were lovely and being right on the beach meant we had amazing views and I could even surf right outside our home for the week. It was my first time surfing and Zak was a great teacher who had me standing up in the first hour. Can’t wait to come back!
Many thanks for a terrific 10 days of surfing. I’m now properly catching green waves, standing up and turning thanks to your instructors. The villa was great with fantastic evening meals and I’ve made a whole load of new friends into the bargain. I’ll be back.
The Spot could not be a more appropriate name for this fantastic place. Everything about it, from the gorgeous surf, friendly atmosphere and endless stream of mint tea was so spot on. I literally can’t wait to go back.
